We had a great time hiking Palmer Park today. The weather was just wonderful. Karen asked me what I wanted to do for Father’s Day. Hiking was the answer.
Afterwards, we had a great late lunch at Il Vicino and headed to Jack Quinn’s for dinner/music.
You can see more of our hiking photos here.
We were dropping by the Bristol Brewing Company’s tap room and we saw a crowd nearby taking part in something. Inside Bristol Brewing, we saw lots of people with red clown noses.
We decided it was time to figure out what this was all about so we headed down to what turned out to be the Millibo Art Theatre (MAT!) fundraiser kickoff.
We had a great time joining into the fun of the event, which was the Red Nose Party.

Katie Beth and Karen had fun at the Money Museum. Katie Beth received an old coin from Denmark and a coin made on site.
They got to watch the coin go through each step in the coin making processing.
Katie Beth had a blast at Home Depot this morning making a lawn mower pencil holder.
And, we kept the paint in all the right places that is not on our clothes.
See more here.
We had a fun time this morning making pancakes and eating them in the treehouse.
The weather was wonderful with the morning sun shining on us.

We went for a hike this morning before Katie Beth’s last soccer game of the Spring season. The weather was great. We saw a lot of wildlife including a rabbit, chipmunks, squirrels, and birds. Katie Beth took a small tumble and cut her knee, but she went on after a bit a comfort time with Karen.
We ended at the playground were Katie Beth played for bit prior to us head to the soccer game.
We are having a great time hanging out with friends enjoying their celebration and listening to our friends Microwave Dave and the Nukes.
The weather started out great today, but after leaving Barr Camp, I felt sprinkles and heard thunder nearby. I covered over 12.5 miles so I expect to feel rough tomorrow in my legs.
I posted some photos taken along the way, too. You can see them here.
