Katie Beth and I took a quick break from Breakfast with Santa and went to Lowe’s Workshop. It was kind of neat in that Katie Beth built a Train Engine that had scratch and sniff.

We enjoyed Katie Beth’s Christmas Program tonight. Each of the classes presented us with various musical talents taught by the music instructor, Ms. Kennedy.
Katie Beth’s class sang a number of song and wore stable animal costumes.

Katie Beth really enjoys these workshops. Today, she got to make a Tic-Tac-Toe game. Santa was hanging out at the workshop.

We had a great time at Home Depots’ Workshop. Katie Beth had fun building and chatting with Santa. Santa gave tried and true wood crafting tips.
Katie Beth helped with dinner tonight. She wanted to chop up the ginger. She apparently has been watching dad’s technique for sometime now.
Katie Beth had a blast at her first rollerskating party for her classmate. It is great that we had already been teaching Katie Beth how to rollerblade. She took to rolling skates with no problem.

We had fun today. We did some thrift store shopping and we picked up a vintage General Electric Portable Deluxe Hair Dryer. With Katie Beth’s long hair, we decided why not give a portable dryer a try.
The bonnet is a little too big for her, but it still stays on with a few adjustments every so often.
Now, we can play games while Katie Beth’s hair is busy getting dried.
The weather threatened to rain the whole evening, but we ended up getting out to go trick-or-treating with Katie Beth in the end. Katie Beth went as a vampire devil. Our neighbor really decorated their front porch and an awesome way.
This year, we had lots of Halloween events to go to so Katie Beth got to dress up as various things each time including a bumblebee, a rock’n roll star, and a vampire.

We had an enjoyable evening at the Trunk-Or-Treat hosted by Queen of the Universe Church. We all dressed up. Katie Beth got to be a bee.
Many of the cars were decorated very well. The tricked out hearse was probably the best.

You may be shocked or not shocked, but Katie Beth had never had a bologna sandwich prior to today. With all the organic food coming through our house, the idea of bologna is far from what you would see in our house.
Katie Beth loved it to say the least. The photos shows her licking mustard off her lips.
