I had a great hike today on the Columbine Trail. I started at the Starsmore Discovery Center trailhead and hiked to the Helen Hunts. The around trip was about 6.9 miles.

Hiking Palmer Park
I had a super 4.7 mile hike at Palmer Park. The temperature was in the mid-70’s with a wonderful breeze.

First T-Ball Game
Katie Beth is playing t-ball for the first time for her school’s team. She had her first game today.

Magicbands
Your Disney Magicbands for our Spring trip have arrived. Katie Beth is tearing hers down to a smaller size. These bands are our annual pass bands.
We actually have 2 sets of bands already and another set on the way.
We have learned that the name given to the bands is just away to identify the band. We had hoped it would be the name of the “person” as the system display the name of the rider.
Creekwood Greenway Ride
Katie Beth has become very confident on her bicycle so we are now riding regularly on the Creekwood Greenway.
Spring Break Playdate
Katie Beth is enjoying her Spring Break with a playdate with Tasha. Forts, on top over the treehouse, was the activity of the day.
Day with Charlie
Katie Beth’s cousin, Charlie, visited for the day. Charlie and Katie Beth built forts inside.
When I came home, they were playing outside and we had a game of tag. Running from two children can make you tire quickly.
Learning Band Loom
Charlie taught Katie Beth how to use her band loom to make bracelets, while Karen and I chatted with Hope.
Hope was so excited about her new job and moving closer to home.

Grilling at The Nook
We joined my parents at The Nook for grilled chicken wings. Karen decided it was fun to do the grilling while I kept her plied with beer samples.
Later, my parents had to run to pick up my sister, Hope, and her children. They all came back to join us.
St. Patrick’s Parade
We went out to watch the St. Patrick’s Parade.
