Baseball

Huntsville StarsHeading to Joe Davis Stadium so we can checkout a baseball game and wish our dear friends Allison and Steve Tofflemire a happy 19th anniversary.

The weather should not be too warm and the Huntsville Stars are playing well these days

Another Day, Another Baseball Game

Another Day, Another Baseball GameThe Huntsville Stars are a head. The weather is holding. Katie Beth is doing well with the excitement. The crowd is thinning already in the second inning.

Dinner was good. I had a Philly Cheese Steak. Hmmm. Hmmm.

If I could just get a beer, I would be set.

Pizza at the Ballgame

Pizza at the BallgameHmmmm. Hmmm.

We had great time at the game.

Initially, Katie Beth was not a happy camper. But, I ran her around a little and let her go see the other children, which turn out to be the right thing to make her happy.

Leaving Work Early for Baseball

Huntsville StarsI am leaving work early today to join Karen and Katie Beth at the Huntsville Stars baseball game against the Mississippi Braves. The game starts at 10:30AM. There is nothing like a cold beer and hotdogs in the morning.

Katie Beth will be ecstatic as she loves going to baseball games. She may even get to see Homer the mascot of the Huntsville Stars.

Double Header Baseball

Well, the rain has finally stopped in Huntsville, Alabama so we are heading out for baseball tonight.

Last night’s game got rained out, which means we get a double header tonight starting at 5:05PM. Why 5:05 instead of 5:00PM? I don’t know, but the Huntsville Stars have always started games at 5 minute past the hour. It could be due to the games being aired on the radio.

Tonight and tomorrow night are the last in town games for this season. We have enjoyed the season with our little Katie Beth, but good things must come to an end. And, our baby needs to stop going to bed around 10:00PM.

We hope to win season tickets during tomorrow’s game. They will be drawing from all the tickets turned in throughout the season for a life time pass. And, they will be drawing for four season tickets based on people who donated to a charity.
