What's happening in my world…
Karen and I just got done celebrating Christmas with Karen’s family. Everyone had a great time.
We are looking forward to Christmas night at Terri and Frank Grayson’s house. Everyone come to their house after with Christmas with their spouse’s family. It is also a little adult time, because all of the children are exhausted from the day’s activities.
Well, we have gotten to that time year for celebrations. Karen's birthday is month along both of my parents. The anniversary of my parents and my sister is this month, too. Oh, my brother-in-law's birthday is this month, also.
And somewhere in there, we will have Christmas.

Karen and I had a great time at Westar's party.
Our friend Larry Woellhart won a pair of airline tickets. His face just lit up when his name has announced.
They had a tuxedos contest, which brought in many tuxedos. We thought the best one was the bright orange one that someone wore, but he didn't win. The popular company graphic artist won wearing just regular tuxedo.
We called it a night early, because I had to catch a flight to Colorado Springs in morning.

Karen and I will enjoying her company's Christmas Party. It is great chance to win super prizes. They will be giving away 12 pairs of airplane tickets. And, much much more!
We have only won small prizes in the past. One individual won airlines ticket two years in a row. You can't beat that for good luck.
This is second year of the Westar parties, because Westar purchased Karen old company, which was Elmco. The company has grown, but they are learning how to be a large company slowly.

My youngest sister turned 35 today. So, if you run into her in Avon, Colorado, you should wish her a happy birthday.

Karen and I went to one of the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween nights as the King and Queen of Hearts. We had a blast interacting with the characters from Alice in Wonderland especially the Queen of Hearts.
We collected three bags of candy between us. As Karen said, “I’ll start dieting when I get home.”

Well, I hit the big four oh! Karen came out to Colorado Springs to help celebrate.
We had a great time with friends from work joining us at the Blue Star restaurant and Bristol Brewing Company.
Karen and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in August. It is amazing how the 10 years have flown by us.
We are going to be celebrating with a trip to Seattle, Vancouver, and a train trip to Minneapolis/St. Paul.
We are looking forward to hiking in Mount Rainier National Park. We plan to go shopping at Granville Island, which looks to be a great place to pickup gifts to bring home.

Well, I hope that you have been thinking about your mother. Mother's Day is this coming Sunday. It is a good day to remember what our mother's have done for us.
For some, it is a day of reflection of things past. For others, it is a time to call our mothers or spend some time together.
Many of us have memories of past Mother's Day. Some of us are just starting to build memories.
Were ever you find yourself in this list of possibilities, I hope that you stop and remember your mother for all the sacrifices she made for you.
Finnegan's Pub is the place to be in Huntsville, Alabama. Karen and I will be heading over there today around lunch in order to do things right.
