Learning to Climb

Learning to ClimbKatie Beth is having a wonderful time playing at the school playground. We have done the slides and swing,s too.

Karen is out walking with Lucy for exercise and adult-time.

First Jump Off Diving Board

Katie Beth jumped off the driving board repeatedly today. But, daddy was dying from treading water for so long.

Sorry, I don’t have a picture.

Mine!

Katie Beth made her first proclamation of mine!

I was playing a game of guess the hand that is holding something. She announced that the pacifier was “mine”.

Row, Row, Row Your Boat…

Katie Beth has taken up singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat. It is fun to hear her in the other room or in the back seat of the car while she repeats “Row, Row, Row”. She then pauses for about as long as it would take to sing the remainder of the verse and then start again.

Ah, childhood learning, it is so fun to observe.

Sand Everywhere

Sand EverywhereKatie Beth had a blast at the beach. We dug in the sand and ran into the surf. She ate sand and maybe some sea water.

She loved the hole I dug deep in the sand. She wanted inside the hole, but she didn’t like us pushing the sand back onto her. It was okay for her push the sand onto herself.
