Katie Beth and I are hanging out waiting for our Bandito Burrito dinner.
We are having a blast and enjoying the chips with salsa while we wait.
Playing in the Snow
We got the toboggan out and we have gone for a ride around the neighborhood.
Someone didn’t keep their hands out of the snow so they are not too happy.
The snow is great. I would say that we got around 8″ of the white stuff.
Our Big Little Lady
Katie Beth surprised us today. She has been asking to buy things at stores for some time now. We have been suggesting that she didn’t need the item or we would ask if she had some money to pay for the item.
Well today, we let her bring her wallet with her in her backpack. Her backpack is used to carry toys, coloring books, books, etc. to mass and her grandparent’s house so that she has things to entertain herself.
It started at church when the collection basket went by her. Katie Beth stopped it and opened her wallet and took out a dollar and proceeded to put it in the collection. She only had 5 dollars.
Then, we went to Krispy Kreme for donuts to take over to her grandparents. She wanted buy them for her grandparents. I let her know that donuts are too expensive. I said that she could purchase one for herself. I even explained that it would cost more than a dollar. She happily purchased three of the mini-donuts for $1.07. She put her receipt into her wallet along with her 93¢ of change.
Painting A Fairy House
Katie Beth is having a great time painting the fairy house that we made today.
I think she likes the paint more than power screwdriver.
She even made chalk seascape for the interior.
Rapunzel
Katie Beth is having a blast dressed as Rapunzel.
We are celebrating the Ronning Christmas today with Karen’s Family.
Everyone is having a blast.
Karen Trying the Carrier
Karen decided to give the child carrier a try on the trail back from the Walker Sisters’ House.
She moaned a little, but she was a trooper. She said she appreciated me more after trying the carrier.
Relaxing in Smoky Mountains
Karen and Katie Beth are already relaxing in the hot tub.
The weather is wonderful with blue skys.
The hot tub is getting them ready for hiking all day tomorrow.
Ready for Galaxy of Lights
Katie Beth and Jameson are ready for the Galaxy of Lights. Jameson has on a cute dress tonight.
The weather is great tonight.
Karen and I enjoyed chatting with Jessica and Jeff while strolling with the girls through the lights. The girls got to visit with Santa Claus, too.

Our Princess is Ready
Here Katie Beth is ready for Halloween.
She had a great time tonight. She topped it off with sleeping on the top bunk after getting to eat a few pieces of candy.

Lo Cain’s Number One Fan
Katie Beth is such a fan of Lorenzo Cain (Lo Cain) of the Brewers and a former Huntsville Stars player. Steve and Allison Tofflemire surprised Katie Beth tonight with her very own Lo Cain shirt. This is a one of kind shirt that Allison and Steve had made. Lo Cain is the nickname that the players called Lorenzo Cain in Huntsville. The Huntsville fans started calling him this and it stuck, but the major league fans don’t really know him by this nickname.
Tonight, we all gathered to watch the second game of the world series and Allison and Steve couldn’t resist the opportunity to give Katie Beth this wonderful gift. Karen and I didn’t even know about the gift.
Even before going over to their home, Katie Beth was assuming that we would be seeing Lo Cain playing baseball so she started chanting, “Go Lo Cain!”
