Valentine’s Day

Katie Beth and Karen both enjoyed their Valentine’s Day gifts from me. Katie Beth may have enjoyed the string of flags in her card more than the water toys. Karen’s necklace looked very good on her.

Allison and Steve Tofflemire came over to bring Katie Beth some Valentine gifts, too. The Disney glasses were too cute.

Allison and Steve even took Katie Beth to dinner with them so Karen and I could have a short Valentine’s Day dinner together. We tried out, a new to us, restaurant called Sun Cafe. The food was very good and we will be going back to have the sushi in the future.

In the photo, you can really see how long and full Katie Beth’s hair is getting.

Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights

We had a great time viewing the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. It is always amazing to see them.

Katie Beth became focused on finding hidden Mickeys, which were all over the place.

Heading to the Most Wonderful Place in Earth

We have never driven to Walt Disney World so this is a first for us.

We get to visit Katie Beth’s Aunt Sharon awhile on our way down.

These annual passes sure are wonderful!

Wild Gingerbread House

Katie Beth and her classmates made pseudo gingerbread houses out of gram crackers. The children were allowed a lot of freedom in their design.

Katie Beth’s School Thanksgiving Celebration

Katie Beth’s school celebrated Thanksgiving today. Karen helped out and said all the children had fun.

UAH Duck Pond

The weather was wonderful so we went to the UAH Duck Pond to feed the ducks, which are actually mainly geese.

They went crazy when they saw the amount of food that we brought with us.

Bubbles, Bubbles, everywhere Bubbles

Katie Beth is having a blast in the tub. You may not see her, but she is in there somewhere. I may have let the bubbles get out of hand a bit. The red dots are soap confetti hearts from our Walt Disney World trip from last month.

Bath time is always a fun time for her. Katie Beth could stay in the tub for hours and hours without the fun ending for her. I know she will be asking for bubbles for the next few weeks at bath time.
